Privacy policy

1. Who we are

This site (2084.now) is operated by Cinegach Studios LLC ("we," "us," "our"), a limited liability company organized in the State of California, United States. We sell a digital product called The AI Revolution Survival Guide and related materials.

You can reach us at support@2084.now for any privacy question, request, or concern described below.

2. What we collect

We collect only the data we need to deliver your purchase and operate the site:

  • Account email. Used to log you in via magic link and to send purchase receipts and product updates.
  • Purchase records. Date of purchase, product purchased, and payment confirmation. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details. Those are handled directly by Stripe.
  • Reading progress. Which chapters you have marked complete, so we can show your progress when you return.
  • Basic technical logs. IP address, browser type, and request timestamps, retained for security and debugging. These are kept for up to 90 days and then deleted.

We do not currently run third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or behavioral tracking on this site. If we add any of those in the future, we will update this policy and notify existing users by email before the change takes effect.

3. Who we share it with

We use the following service providers to operate the site. Each receives only the data needed to do its specific job:

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing companies.

4. SMS communications

If you provide your phone number when signing up, you may receive marketing SMS messages from us related to 2084.now content, including new chapter releases, audio releases, and occasional updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You consent to these messages by providing your phone number during signup. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. Reply HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your number is used only for messages from 2084.now and is processed through our SMS service provider (Klaviyo) for delivery.

5. Your rights

You can request the following at any time by emailing support@2084.now:

  • Access. A copy of all the data we have associated with your account.
  • Correction. Updates to anything inaccurate.
  • Deletion. Permanent removal of your account and associated data. Note: purchase and tax records may be retained for the period required by US tax law (typically 7 years), even after account deletion.
  • Export. Your data delivered in a portable format (JSON or CSV).
  • Objection. Opting out of any non-essential use of your data (such as future product update emails. Your purchase receipts and account login emails will continue regardless).

We will respond to any request within 30 days. If you are located in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or the CCPA respectively. Those rights are honored in full alongside the rights listed above.

6. Cookies and storage

We use a small number of essential cookies and browser storage items to keep you logged in and remember your reading progress. These are technically required for the site to function and are not used for tracking or advertising.

We do not currently use marketing or analytics cookies. If we add them in the future, we will display a cookie consent banner and require your opt-in before any non-essential cookie is set.

7. Children

The product is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, email support@2084.now and we will delete the account and all associated data.

8. Data retention

We keep your account data as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete your account record and reading progress within 30 days. Purchase and tax records are retained for the period required by US tax law, typically 7 years.

9. International transfers

We are based in the United States. Our service providers (Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, Cloudflare) operate globally and may store or process your data in the US, EU, or other regions. Where data leaves your jurisdiction, the applicable provider implements legal safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent) consistent with GDPR and other regional privacy laws.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. If a change materially affects your rights or how we handle your data, we will email account holders before the change takes effect.
